Description

We'll meet weekly for 8 weeks on Monday evenings from 6 to 8PM at the NewEra community clubhouse (11713 Buckeye Rd) in Buckeye.

--> dates: 9/21, 9/28, 10/12, 10/19, 10/26, 11/2, 11/9, 11/16 

Sessions will also include guest speakers (such as lawyers and skilled cooperators) AND a site visit to Cleveland's oldest co-op: The Hessler Housing Co-op.

We'll discuss and learn about: co-op fundamentals (what is a housing co-op and what types can we build), governance, financing, development, navigating interpersonal communication and conflict, and CLTs
  • 1-2 hours of prep per session
  • No prior experience or knowledge is necessary to join! We welcome anyone who is co-op housing curious. Folks from the previous cohort are welcome to participate again!
