In 2021 Cleveland will elect a mayor and city council. Now is the time to inspire candidates to adopt an environmental justice platform that puts human and natural wellbeing over profit. That’s why we joined a coalition of local environmental justice and advocacy groups to create a progressive policy agenda for environmental justice in Cleveland.

Imagine a Cleveland full of neighbor-owned solar arrays (!). That’s one of the outcomes described in the Cleveland Comprehensive Environmental Policy Platform, a call for decisive policy resolutions on environmental justice, water, land and green space, infrastructure and transportation, as well as energy and air quality.
